Report a Concern About a HostRooster Property

HostRooster is dedicated to supporting our vacation rental hosts and ensuring that they are responsible members of their local communities. To achieve this, we've introduced the Stay Neighborly program, which allows community members to report any concerns they may have about a property listed on HostRooster.

Reporting a Concern

If it's possible, we encourage you to initiate a conversation with the host first, kindly expressing your concerns and providing them an opportunity to address the issue. In many cases, hosts may not be aware that a problem exists. If your concerns persist or you encounter difficulties, please use the Stay Neighborly complaint form and ensure you have the following information at hand:

  1. Your name, email address, and phone number.
  2. The URL of the HostRooster listing, if available.
  3. Detailed information about the issue.
  4. Any supporting documents such as police reports, affidavits, photos, or formal citations, if applicable.

HostRooster's Response to Your Report

Once you've submitted your complaint to us, we will take the following actions:

  1. Host Reminder: We will remind the host about HostRooster's policies, Terms and Conditions, and best practices for responsible and considerate renting.

  2. Listing Review: We will review the listing in question, notify the owner of your concerns, and collaborate to find a resolution to the issue. If we determine that the listing violates our Terms and Conditions, we will take appropriate actions, which may include removing the listing.
